Private. Intentional. Sacred.

Chapter One

How We Met

It didn’t start as romance.

It started as a project.

I was building something. As usual. Moving fast. Solving problems. Trying to bring an idea to life. I needed a product designer, not just someone who could make things look good, but someone who could think, understand systems, and see what others miss.

Someone recommended you.

At the time, you were simply “the designer I should talk to.”

So I reached out.

I expected a conversation about UI, flows, maybe deadlines and deliverables.

What I didn’t expect… was you.

From the first interaction, there was something different. You weren’t just designing screens. You were thinking deeply. Asking the right questions. Challenging assumptions. Caring about the outcome.

You weren’t trying to impress. You were trying to understand.

And that stood out.

We started with wireframes and design systems.

We didn’t know we were sketching the early outlines of something much bigger.

Looking back now, it’s almost funny.

I was searching for a product designer. But I found my person.

What began as a professional recommendation became one of the most important introductions of my life.

And the project I thought I was building?

It was never just the product.

It was us.

A note I kept

She thinks in systems, and still notices the small kindnesses. I reached out for a designer and found a soul who asks the right questions.

Chapter Two

The Moment I Knew

I first knew you virtually in 2021.

At the time, we were just pals working around the same project space. Conversations were normal. Professional. Light. But even from a distance, I noticed something about you.

You were different.

There was a depth in how you thought. A steadiness in how you carried yourself. A quiet hunger to grow. I would observe you, not in a romantic way at first, but in a way that made me pause.

There was something special about you.

But it was still virtual. Still distant. Still undefined.

Then October 2024 happened.

The Grid.

The first time I saw you physically.

And something shifted.

It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic. It was quiet and certain.

When I looked at you, I felt a strange familiarity. Almost like I was looking at a reflection of myself, not in appearance, but in spirit. The way you spoke. The way you listened. The way your presence carried both strength and calm.

It felt mutual.

It felt aligned.

It felt like purpose had quietly stepped into the room.

That was the moment I knew I was not just meeting someone.

I was stepping into something amazing.

That was the moment I stopped observing from a distance… And started intentionally building something closer with you.

A line I never said out loud

Even from a distance, I felt your spirit align with mine. The first time I saw you, I knew I wanted to build close.

Chapter Three

The Seasons That Tested Us

Loving someone is easy when things are aligned.

But commitment is revealed when they are not.

You were the one who first left for the United Kingdom. I was still in Nigeria. Six months of distance, but surprisingly, distance was never the problem. Time zones were not the problem. We talked. We stayed connected. We were intentional.

We were building something steady.

Then I joined you.

And that’s when the real test began.

I arrived in the UK full of expectation, but the reality hit differently. The pressure was heavier than I anticipated. A new system. A new culture. Career uncertainty. Internal battles I didn’t even know how to explain.

I was in Scotland. You were in England.

And somehow, even though we were in the same country, we felt farther than when we were continents apart.

For over three months, I went into what I can only describe as ghost mode.

I withdrew. I became quieter. The pressure consumed me.

And that was the most shaky season we have ever faced.

We almost lost what we had been building, not because love disappeared, but because pressure exposed our vulnerabilities.

It was a fragile time.

But you stayed.

You didn’t panic. You didn’t abandon. You didn’t turn cold. You stood steady even when I was not fully present.

That season humbled me.

It taught me that love is not just about shared excitement. It is about shared resilience. It is about choosing to stay when things are unclear.

When we finally found our footing again, we were different.

More honest. More aware. More intentional.

We learned that "a-forever" will not just require romance. It will require strength. Patience. Grace.

And in our most shaky season, when everything felt like it could slip through our hands…

We chose to rebuild.

Together.

What I learned about us

Love stayed when pressure pressed. We learned to choose, to stay, to rebuild with grace.

Chapter Four

The Future I See With You

When I think about the future with you, I don’t see small dreams.

I see legacy.

I see a home that fears God deeply, not just in words, but in conviction. A home where prayer is normal. Where discipline is loving. Where truth is spoken without fear.

I see us building global wealth, not for status, but for stewardship.

I see us funding Kingdom projects. Supporting missions. Empowering churches. Building platforms that give people knowledge, health, opportunity, and access to "The Truth".

I see children who know Scripture before they know trends.

Children who understand discipline before entitlement.

Children who grow up seeing two parents aligned in purpose.

I see us influencing lives across the world, not because we chased influence, but because we lived intentionally.

You are not just someone I want to build a home with.

You are someone I want to build a generation with.

A promise I am choosing

I will build a home of prayer, patience, and purpose with you.

The Woman I Am Choosing for Life

Loving someone can be emotional.

Choosing someone is intentional.

I am choosing you.

I am choosing you because you fear God — not performatively, but genuinely. There is a hunger in you that is obvious. You don’t settle spiritually. You pursue growth. You pursue depth.

That matters to me more than beauty.

I am choosing you because you strive to become better. You are not stagnant. You challenge yourself. You dare to make a difference. You do not shrink from growth.

I am choosing you because you care. Because you honor me. Because you bring strength without ego and softness without weakness.

You are not perfect.

But you are aligned.

Aligned in values. Aligned in faith. Aligned in ambition.

Aligned in discipline. Aligned in vision.

And alignment is rare.

Out of everyone I could meet in this world, I am not drifting toward you.

I am deliberately choosing you.

Not just for today. Not just for Valentine’s Day.

Not just for emotion.

But for life.

Everything I mean

I choose you with intention, for faith, for alignment, for life.
